A 100 inch diagonal music video from iTunes, projected from a ShowWX laser pico projector connected to an iPhone. Video was taken with a Canon 5DmkII slr camera, 20mm F2.8 lens. Unlike a regular photo, I believe the video recorder continuously adjusts the ISO. That is why you may occassionally see vignetting in the video (aka spotlight effect). This vignetting is an artifact of the camera lens, not the projector. The dark scanning lines and graininess of the video are also artifacts.

@mime454 I believe you are referring to the dark scanning lines? If so, those flickering lines don’t exist in real life. They are due to the video camera and projector being out of sync with each other.

Is that flickering actually seen by the eye or is it an illusion of the camera?

There are some interesting points in that clause but I don’t know if I see all of them middle to eye . There is some validity but I will hold judgment until I look into it further. Good article , thanks and we want more! Added to FeedBurner likewise.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
