hey, i have a itouch MC model, 3.1.2.
i downloaded blackra1n and clicked ‘make it rain’, it just stays on the ‘plug onto itunes’, i re-opened blackra1n and made it rain again but it just says waiting for device and doesn’t do anything.,
i’ve done this like 3 times now.
help?

my phone does not reboot. i previously installed blackrain and then uninstalled it. I have cydia, but can no longer get blackrain to download to the phone.
my phone never rebooted – even when i was able to download the first blackrain and cydia

@utkarsh12 this is a tethered jailbreak, even the RC3, everyting it turns off, just run blackra1n again takes about 10 seconds

I have the same blackra1n as everyone else, but my 3Gs was one of the first batches, so the bootrom allows for untethered jailbreak. Yours must be the newer batches so you only have a tethered jailbreak at the moment
It may be sorted soon though!

sry man kinda of new to iphone and stuff, but are u saying that your iphone 3gs jailbreak with blackra1n is a untethered? if so would you mind sending it to me? cos it’s kind of troublesome to keep re-jailbreaking my iphone 3gs[3.1.2]

Since asking I’ve found out that on my specific 3Gs it’s not tethered, but on the latest ones with the new bootroms it is.

with my iphone 3gs after it shows the boot logo it then shows the apple logo and then gets stuck into the “connect to itunes” screen

its only tethered for the ipod touch 3G all the others are untethered

i think it’s a tethered jailbreak, since i saw a post about blackra1n rc2 being a tethered jailbreak for iphone 3g and 3gs. hope this helps.

Boa tarde galera, verdadeiramente mandar um torpedo grátis está cada vez mais difícil devido a restrição das operadoras de celular. Há ainda serviços de terceiros (sites) que prometem entregar minha menssagem mas nem sempre chegam ao usuário final. Alguns como o Mundo oi e o Oi Torpedo funcionam mas e para as outras operadoras? E os que dizem que enviam e nada chega. Para onde está indo as meus torpedos? E para a Tim, Vivo? Alguma Idéia? Ou significa ter de desembolsar?. Foi mal, realmente está difícil achar bons sites para mandar torpedos na faixa.
