How to Jailbreak iPod Touch, iPod Touch 2g, DataApple ComputeriTunes Updates Vista: C:Users*Your User Name Here*AppDataRoamingApple ComputeriTunes Updates Quick Software Update Steps: 1. Download firmware from Site 1 or 2 2. Open iTunes and plug in iPod/iPhone 3. For official version ($10 for iPod Touches) click update 3b. For “free” version Shift+Left Click on Restore 4. Let iTunes do its thing and come back in 3-10 minutes 4b. Browse for the .ipsw file (restoration/update file) and open [continue to Step 4]

Well, the 3rd gen you must update to 3.1.2 and then you can watch my other video on how to jailbreak that with BlackRa1n!

when I download redsnow vs 0.7.1 (the one in the link) I get a message saying it cant open it and they give me 2 options – check other installed programs – check online for a solution

any help my computer (vista 32bit) won’t recognize my ipod when it is in DFU mode, the sound it is making means that device failed to connect, plz help, i tried lot of time to put in DFU but my pc won’t recognize so please help me
