Composite cables are usually pinned for older model iPods though I got lucky with my Dynex composite which connects my 3G to TV just fine. This is likely the issue
The first thing youll want to do is double check the TV input is set to Composite. Once that is verified go to Settings > iPod (make sure youve selected NTSC, and not PAL), you also want Widescreen OFF. Try playing a movie or photo now.

June 8th, 2010 at 11:13 pm
what model is your phone and what firmware are you using. all aftermarket cables are firmware specific, and even some of the Apple ones too. a firmware update can make the cables useless. if you buy a cable for your current firmware, DON’T UPDATE.
June 8th, 2010 at 11:57 pm
Does this cable still work on the new 3.0 firmware?
June 9th, 2010 at 12:04 am
its because u bought the cable which is not original but the cable of apple the original one it has 5 /6 leads of different colour as your tv is bit old so u need to buy that it has red white blue green &red colour cable which is for the old tv or sony wega then behind at the back of the tv u will see those 5 colours just place the apple iphone or ipod in to that &u will see video

i hate these stupid companies selling these cables stating they would work on 3G and such. I bought one, from ebay, then i told him whats up, they sent me another one because they said it worked on theirs, still didnt work, why is it so hard to make such an easy plug in, gosh!!

I have been finding many different opinions on this and find this post to be one of the more enlightening on the subject. Hope we can increase the quality of responses than what I have seen as many do not seem to be very relevant.

There are some interesting points in time in that clause but I don’t know if I see all of them middle to center . There is some validness but I will hold opinion until I look into it further. Good article , thanks and we want more! Added to FeedBurner besides.

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.

As I referred to on my submission, I’m not comfortable sharing my address and telephone number with all that would wish to see it on the cyberspace. Is it viable for us to electronic mail it to you or perchance the victor could be got hold of by email?
