@fums07 i ended-up purchasing it. its a great app. but i have emailed the developer to see if they will add the reader comments eventually.

they don’t have the comments implemented yet but they said there’d be an update coming with the iphone os 4 bringing comments to the app

I downloaded this in the early hours this morning. However whilst I knew there was no video, I am little disappointed that there is no comment is free or jobs section. Also readers comments at the end of each article are omitted.
However it has a very attractive design and a mass of content. Along with Bloomberg it is the most impressive news app I’ve seen.

I do not want to get this application after the obvious bnp promotion. Newspapers should be objective and not to try to spoonfeed people with subtle messages

There are four shots of cars. Three shots of recession stories.
Do not put too much emphasis on something which is insignificant.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
