The line between porn and child porn is actually not a fine line. It is a big bold flashing red line.
The core (and correct) argument against child porn, or pedophilia in general is lack of consent. A child cannot honestly say whether or not they want to participate, and must be assumed to be coerced into the act by some means.
In the case of a virtual world, there is no such lack of consent. My point is that if we see the need for restraining from some virtual acts, why not others?

you do realise that you just open a can of worms right? i mean games that ppl can play in which child abuse is the subject? what the fuck dude. there is free speech but we all know that there is a limit to free will. if there was total free speech and will we would all be dead cuz we would all do what we feel. we dont becuase we have morals and thats the problem. this game lacks morals. just think for a minute games where kids are being abused? whats next raping kids abducting them in games??

when it comes to children thats the line. ill give you an example…there is all sorts of porn on the web right. even grapphic ones with violence. thats odd in itself and if the adults are willing then there needs to be no line. ok. but when we introduce kids into porn would you say that draws a fine line? the subject changes when kids are introduced thats all im trying to say. violence is violence but when it comes to kids i say hell no!

when i saw that on the news i was like wtf!!!! how can a game be made with kids like that? its terrible cuz in a way it makes ppl not see shaking babies as a bad thing. subconsciouslly i mean. over time it would destroy our society if we think that abuse is ok. the guy who made that game needs to be beaten himself to see that this issue is serious.

I think the real problem is that kids with iPhones could download the app and play it.
I posted a video recently asking where we draw the line or IF we draw the line on what we do in a virtual world. People have lost loved ones in all sorts of cruel ways that are depicted in games.
If the argument is that violent video games in which we murder innocents (GTA, etc) dos not affect our morality or likelyhood of performing the act in real life, then why is a line necessary at all?

You do have the right to be outraged and I do agree it is in poor taste, but is it hurting anybody – not necessarily. That game could be a gateway for baby-killers, but it could be an outlet for childcare givers who are frustrated w kids. Its Freedom of speech. Everyone is allowed to express themselves how ever they feel like within the confines of the law. There are thousands of games where you kill innocent people. Those games are JUST AS BAD. My worry here is that other kids will see it.

Joey, you know my answer to your question. Of course I would be outraged! BUT the fact that this game isn’t depicting a real child truly changes the playing field here.
People play games where you have to kill innocent people – That does not equate to murderers. The only problem in this situation, in my belief, is that this application is easily accessible to other children. This is a real eye-opener I have to say. Parents really should monitor what their children do.

This isn’t underage drinking or smoking weed or porn or whatever. this is about endorsing a game that the object is to kill an infant. SICK MOTHER FUCKING BASTARDS!
