Hey, I just came across this site that is supposedly giving away a number of Motorola Droid’s, ofcourse the chance of getting one is small since there must be tons of people signing up for this, but anyway, I signed up and I’m hoping to be one of the lucky ones. It’s free and takes like 30 seconds so I thought why not. My brother even joined the contest and he already owns a Droid.
Check it out!

I just got my Droid last night and its the best phone on the best network and I really hate it when people say its a copy of the iphone because the iphone is slower with a smaller screen and also the Droid can do things that the iphone still cant do and not only that but Motorola made the very first phone in the U S A not Apple.
I have used both the Apple iphone 3gs and the Droid. ANYONE who has not used the Droid cant say NOTHING about it that’s like saying a car sucks without driving it.

is a copy cat of the i phone i love it though apple verse google atat verses verizon

@keithbt430888 – better than the iPhone? Have you even handled an iPhone ever? Dont confuse network and phone… Verizon network maybe…maybe better than at&t but the phone is definitely not. I have tried both side by side. The touch screen is no where near to the iPhone experience and the performance of Droid is sluggish at times.

i think the whole coverage thing is bull. my friend has the storm and he gets a dignal but its a crappy one and he gets dropped calls all the time. i have the iphone and never had a droped call. and the whole battery thing ….mine lasts me like 3 days.. i just set the brightness down and turn everything to push.

It is good to have a removable battery if it’s running low on battery juice and you have a spare.
February 8th, 2010 at 8:39 am
No of course I don’t have it, it’s not supposed be out yet. does it react to a stylus?
February 8th, 2010 at 9:03 am
Um, the Droid doesn’t react to any of those things, either, pal.
I have the phone.
Have you tried seeing how responsive the touch screen on it is?
February 8th, 2010 at 9:43 am
Well maybe other living things but hvae yu tried? Couch cushion, no. Pencil, no. My finger with my shirt over it, no. Elbow, yes. Chin, yes. Knee from under jeans, no.
February 8th, 2010 at 9:50 am
the droid does actually have the electromagnetic touch recognition.
February 8th, 2010 at 10:42 am
That’s not true.
The screen only responds to a certain width, which in iPhone’s case, is about the size of the human finger. Not that it only responds to human fingers, that’s ridiculous.
February 8th, 2010 at 10:46 am
Why lug a camera around when its already in my phone and takes great pictures? Replaceable batter is nice if you need to replace it. With iphone, you have to send it to the manufacturer to replace it…. and then you don’t have your phone.
