Hi great tutorials and tips Steve. Reading through some of you are eager to change here your desktops.
Download Geektool 3.0 from projects tynsoe. Then in Google search for Geeklets ie Date, Time and Calendar. All are free. For me the best way for Time and Date and Clock is to visit vladstudio and download free for Mac Users, the prog and wcz desktop file. Let me know how you get on. Steve UK

Steve, for bar code scanning and price comparisons, just get RedLaser – with 3 GS, it’s real time scan with no need to take a picture. It’s rated 4.5 stars with over 9800 ratings.
